Now use both hands.2004-10-17 @ 8:17 p.m.tonight the streets are desolate. everywhere are red lights from cars breaking in the wake of the snowfall. people hurry in different directions, staring down at their frozen toes wondering why on earth they wore those shoes - they should have known better. treading longingly on the forethought of fire places and hot baths. i know that's what i was thinking - thank god for ancient boilers. thank god for the next few hours between now and morning when ill wake up and trudge to school, rebuking the paths between buildings outdoors and opting for the long way, staying inside and zig zaging between the complexes of my education. at three oclock i'll be forced to evnture outdoors to meet warren for coffee when we'll finally get down to discussing the sudanese benefit show. I don't know why it had only occured to me this evening to use Grace Presbyterian for the show - the acoustics in the basement are amazing. But tonight, before all of my hustle and bustle begins, i'm going to curl up on my couch with mike and watch movies from the Robin in 24 video store and forget about my communications paper, my humanities paper and my up coming mid term. Forget about reading Augustine and Frankenstein. Forget about the real world, for just a little while.
but, this city hates me.
i hate your city, too.
